Plot

This movie is based on the frequent terrorist attacks that Mumbai city had faced. And how a common man, played by ”Naseeruddin Shah” decides to teach the terrorists a lesson. He is forced to take law into his hands, as the law and justice fails to punish the terrorists properly and leads to number of attacks on the city and its people. A common man uses technology and intelligence to get to the terrorists captured by the cops. He has now decided to kill these terrorists before they again take advantage of the loopholes in the system.

The film is based on the life of 2 kids from a Mumbai Slum, who goes on to win a reality show called ”Kaun Bangega Crorepati” and wins 20 Million Rupees. On a higher side, it shows, how the fortune changes overnight in this city. And there are so many Rags to Riches stories every day from this city. Directed by the globally acclaimed Director – Danny Boyle, Slumdog Millionaire went on to win a lot of awards in the Oscars. The songs and scores of this movie are just beautiful and are a delight to the ears.

3. Satya(1998)

Plot

A young man named ”Satya” comes to Mumbai from South India to earn his livelihood. But some tragic events lands him up in jail without any crime and thereby makes him meet “Bhiku Matre”, one of the underworld don. Satya keeps on going towards the dark and soon finds himself to be a big name in Underworld. On the personal front, he develops closeness with a girl in his neighborhood and the girl soon becomes his girlfriend, but without much knowledge of his underworld connections. Satya’s life is now torned between underworld and his girlfriend.
