There are mainly 3 co-owners of the IELTS Exam. They are British Council, IDP Education and Cambridge Assessment English. In Order to take a IELTS exam in mumbai, you need to register for the exam with either the British Council or IDP Education. 1. Listening, Reading and Writing (LRW)

This is the first section for the IELTS test. Generally, you would be called to a big hall with 200-300 students sitting with you. The British council or IDP sets up the location in some banquet hall in Mumbai. For Example: Asian banquets in Bhandup.

2. Speaking

Speaking test generally happens after the LRW. For this, you would be called in a 3 star or 4 star hotel in Mumbai. The test would be for around 20 minutes only. However, you would require to come at least 30 minutes prior, to the venue. Hotel Sahil in Bombay Central is one of the Hotels that is used for IELTS exams and speaking test in particular.
